Agency Head Indicted on Charge of Forcibly Molesting ‘High School Model’ Choi Eun-jung

High school model Choi Eun-jung, who gained attention as a “Good Glamour” model, has become involved in a sexual assault case. The Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office announced on the 13th that it had indicted, without detention, Shim (36), the head of Choi’s agency S, on a charge of forcibly molesting her.  According to prosecutors, Shim allegedly assaulted Choi in his car at around 2 a.m. on January 11 while saying, “Let’s go to a motel together tonight.” Choi had worked as a photo model under an exclusive contract with S since November of last year. She recently drew criticism over remarks attributed to her, including “Your teens are the best age to take your clothes off” and “It’s disgusting to see older models posing for bikini photo shoots.” Choi, however, said she had never made those remarks and claimed her agency had invented them to generate publicity. She then went into hiding amid a dispute with the agency.
