Suddenly, viewers around the world saw a man pull down his pants and appear relieved as he had diarrhea. The clip also included sound effects, turning the mistake into what the report called CNN’s worst on-air blunder. The footage came from the comedy film ‘Dumb and Dumber (Dumb and Dumber),’ starring Jim Carrey, and showed a scene involving co-star Jeff Daniels. It remains unclear how the clip ended up in the news broadcast.
