FashionN Reveals the Untold Stories of Millionaire Models

Cable channel FashionN’s ‘2010 Style Secret’ returns with stories about models’ new careers. The program shares behind-the-scenes stories from the worlds of fashion design, modeling and makeup. Its episode ‘Style Secret - Models Who Became Millionaires,’ airing at 10 p.m. on the 15th, focuses on models who became entrepreneurs. After careers on the runway, these models have put their fashion experience to work by launching brands or taking part in design, finding success in business as well. German supermodel Heidi Klum, known for her work with Victoria’s Secret and as a TV host, successfully launched a line with denim brand Jordache (Jordache). The episode also explores how she expanded into businesses ranging from jewelry to cosmetics. It features the stories of Kate Moss, a defining model of the 1990s who came to earn $9 million a year from advertising alone; Erin Watson, who became a fashion designer; Tory Praver, who ventured into swimwear design; and Kimora Lee Simmons, who became a millionaire as a designer for Baby Phat.
