Subject: MBC seeking a part-time employee
MBC seeking a creative and dedicated individual:
(1) Subtitle editor
We are looking for a part-time subtitle editor to work twenty nine hours a week.
Qualifications
• Fluent in English with a good command of the Korean language
• You must be self-motivated
• Must be able to work in the United States
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-oriented environment
• Independent, quick learner, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Can handle working on a strict schedule
• Experience with a subtitle editing program (such as Sony DVD Architect) is a plus!
• Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel)
• Intermediate grasp on English grammar and a keen eye for spotting mistakes
• Have basic knowledge of computer components and software
Responsibilities
• Synching and editing subtitles for television series
• Minor graphic editing
• Helping out other members of the team, particularly when under a tight deadline
